Confessions of a Former Marshmallow: How I Shed 38kg and Found My Inner Race Car

Once upon a time, I was a whopping 122 kg of pure, unadulterated fluff. I wasn't just overweight, I was an entire human-sized marshmallow. 

To be fair, being that heavy did have its perks.

For one, I never needed a seat belt in the car because my love handles acted as natural restraints.

And don't even get me started on the workout I got just from walking up a flight of stairs.

But let's be real, life as a human-sized marshmallow wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

I was tired all the time, out of breath just from tying my shoes, and had a hard time finding clothes that fit properly.

In fact, I used to HATE going to buy clothes because anything i’d wear just made me feel depressed,sad and angry about the way I looked.

I was like a walking, talking beanbag chair.

Then, one day, I had a revelation.

I realized that I didn't want to be a beanbag chair anymore.

I wanted to be a beanstalk - tall, lean, and strong. So, I decided to make a change.

I started eating better, cutting out junk food and adding in more fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins.

I also started walking 5k-10k steps each day and lifting weights 4x a week.

And you know what? It wasn't easy.

There were days when I wanted to give up, when I wanted to sink back into my old bean bag chair ways.

But I kept pushing, and eventually, something amazing happened. The weight started coming off. My clothes started fitting better. I had more energy than I knew what to do with.

And before I knew it, I was down to a svelte 84kg.

Nowadays, I feel like a completely different person. I'm no longer a beanbag chair or a beanstalk - I'm more like a sleek, powerful race car.

I can run, jump, and lift with ease, and I feel incredible.

Everywhere I go, more amazing men want to become friends, and almost everywhere I go - girls want to talk to me.

I'm proud of what I've accomplished, and I'm excited to see what other adventures lie ahead.

So, if you're feeling like a human-sized marshmallow, fear not - because change is possible for you too.

The two steps to accomplishing the change you want are the action items I listed in this post, but even more important than those - is your mindset.You need to become the type of man / woman that is unshakable and relentless.
